Website Update

Website Update — New Ways to Connect

Thank you for your patience while I worked through some technical issues with the website. I apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused.

The website has been updated, and all buttons and links should now be working properly. If you find a button or link that does not work or does not take you to the correct place, please let me know so I can correct it.

New Ways to Connect

There are now two ways to connect with me directly through the website:

Chat with Us — Look for the “Chat with Us” button in the bottom-right corner of the website. You can use it to ask questions, get help finding resources, share your story, or share a praise report about what God has done in your life. Your message will come to me through the website.

WhatsApp — You can also connect with me directly through WhatsApp:

  • On the Join the Discussion page, click the “Join the Discussion” button.

  • On the Share Your Story/Testimony page, click the “Share Your Testimony” button.

Both of these buttons will take you directly to my WhatsApp, where you can send me a message.

I am normally available at my computer from 10:00 AM–10:00 PM Mountain Time, and I will respond as quickly as I am able. You are still welcome to leave a message outside these hours, and I will respond when I am available.

I hope these updates make it easier for you to connect, ask questions, find resources, share your story, or simply tell me about something God has done in your life.

Thank you again for your patience as I continue working to make this website a welcoming and helpful place for you to grow in Christ and connect with others.

I know what it is like to carry deep wounds, painful memories, rejection, childhood abuse, grief, and years of believing lies about my worth and identity. I trust God, but I still experience struggles. Struggling does not mean that God has abandoned us. Often, it becomes the very place where He draws us closer, teaches us to depend on Him, and reveals His truth more deeply.

God has prepared me for this ministry through personal suffering, healing, biblical study, spiritual formation, and years of learning to follow Jesus through every season of life. My experiences allow me to speak with compassion and honesty, while my theological education helps me teach God’s Word carefully and faithfully. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Christian Leadership with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation, with an anticipated graduation in 2027.

God also used two important men to lead me closer to Him. My husband, Joseph Johnson, who passed away in 2024, helped lead me to salvation and encouraged my relationship with Jesus Christ. Later, Pastor Joseph Pedroza challenged me to read the New Testament and helped begin the process of changing how I understood God. Through their influence, God opened my heart to His Word and began preparing me for the ministry you see today.

My hope is that this website helps you recognize God’s truth instead of believing Satan’s lies. Healing and spiritual growth are not easy, but they are worth every step because Jesus walks with us throughout the journey.

As I study God’s Word, one question continually guides my life, my ministry, and everything I write:

What Did Jesus Do?

When we look at how Jesus loved, taught, forgave, served, prayed, suffered, welcomed the rejected, and walked alongside the broken, we discover both the heart of God and the pattern He calls us to follow. This ministry is built upon studying what Jesus did, understanding what His life and teachings reveal, and applying His example to our own spiritual formation and daily lives.

God never gave up on me. He pursued me, protected me, and patiently led me into the truth of who I am in Jesus Christ. By His grace, He has taken my story of pain, rejection, abuse, grief, and restoration and transformed it into a ministry of compassion, hope, biblical teaching, and discipleship.

My desire is to point others to Jesus Christ—the One who heals the brokenhearted, restores hope, renews our identity, and gives new purpose as his servant of God christie

As you explore this ministry, my prayer is that you will discover that your wounds do not define you, your struggles do not disqualify you, and the lies spoken over your life do not have the final word. God’s truth does. He is still writing your story.

Whether you are taking your first step toward Jesus or have walked with Him for many years, I pray these resources help you know Him more deeply, understand what He did, follow His example more faithfully, and experience His transforming work in your life.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28

Transformed to Serve the Broken Through Jesus Christ

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

My Story: From Brokenness to God’s Hope

Written immediately following the events of July 19–24, 2026, Continue the Journey is a Bible study series born out of one of the most difficult weeks of my life. As Jesus Christ faithfully met me through His Word, these studies became a record of the Scriptures He used to renew my mind, strengthen my faith, and draw me back to Himself.

My prayer is that as you study these Psalms, you will recognize God’s faithfulness in your own life, grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, and be encouraged to continue your journey with Him.

                                                                  The Biblical Foundation

Everything throughout this ministry is built upon one mission: helping people experience the hope, healing, and transformation found in Jesus Christ, grow into mature disciples, and go into the world to make disciples who build Christ-centered communities.

The Great Commandment teaches us who we are becoming—people who love God wholeheartedly and love others sacrificially (Matthew 22:37–40). The Great Commission reminds us what we are called to do—make disciples who make disciples in every community where God places us (Matthew 28:19–20).

Together, these two commands provide the biblical foundation for building healthy, Christ-centered communities that glorify God, strengthen believers, and share the hope of Jesus Christ with the world.

The resources below are designed to equip you with practical, biblical tools to start, lead, strengthen, and multiply Christ-centered communities wherever God calls you.

Choose Your Learning Path

Wherever you are in your journey toward building a Christ-centered community, these resources are designed to guide you step by step. Begin with the biblical foundations, and then learn how to start, lead, strengthen, and multiply healthy communities that glorify God and make disciples.

Building Christ-Centered Communities One Life at a Time

📖 1. Foundations

Biblical principles for building healthy communities.

🟩 Start a Community

Everything you need to launch your first group.

🟩 Lead Well

Biblical leadership and caring for people.

🟩 Grow & Multiply

Helping communities mature and reproduce disciples.

A Final Commission

Healthy communities are not built by perfect people—they are built by ordinary people who are surrendered to an extraordinary God. You do not need to have all the answers before God can use you. If you are willing to love people, faithfully teach His Word, pray with others, serve with humility, and trust the Holy Spirit to work, God can use your obedience to transform lives.

Everything you have discovered throughout this ministry has been leading to this moment. My prayer is that these resources will encourage your heart, strengthen your faith, and equip you to live out God’s calling. The Christian life is not simply about gaining knowledge—it is about following Jesus, loving others, making disciples, and helping build Christ-centered communities where people can experience hope, healing, biblical truth, authentic relationships, spiritual growth, and lasting transformation through Jesus Christ.

Whether your community begins in your home, a coffee shop, your church, your workplace, your neighborhood, a college campus, or another part of the world, remember that every disciple-making movement begins with one person who is willing to say, “Lord, here I am. Send me.”

Take Your Next Step of Faith

As you leave this website, I encourage you to take your next step of faith:

  • Share your faith with someone.

  • Start a Bible study.

  • Serve faithfully in your local church.

  • Encourage and mentor another believer.

  • Begin a Christ-centered community where God has placed you.

  • Use these Community Builder resources to equip others.

  • Continue growing in God’s Word and remain connected with believers who will encourage you in your walk with Christ.

My prayer is that God will use your life to bring hope to the hurting, healing to the broken, truth to those who are searching, encouragement to the weary, and the love of Christ to every person He places in your path. May He raise up faithful disciples through your obedience, and may those disciples go on to make other disciples who continue sharing the Gospel from generation to generation until Christ returns.

A Prayer for Community Builders

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for calling us to participate in Your work of making disciples and building Your Church. Fill us with Your wisdom, humility, courage, and love as we serve others in Your name.

Help us lead with grace, teach Your Word faithfully, encourage those who are weary, and point every person to the hope found in Jesus Christ. May our communities be places where people encounter Your presence, grow in their faith, care for one another, and faithfully proclaim the Gospel.

Raise up leaders who will continue making disciples, strengthening Your Church, and building Christ-centered communities throughout neighborhoods, cities, and nations. May everything we do bring honor and glory to You alone.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

May you go forward with faith, courage, and humility, trusting that God will guide every step as you serve others, make disciples, and help build Christ-centered communities for His glory.

May God richly bless every person who visits this ministry. May you continue to grow as a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, walk daily in His love and truth, and experience the hope, healing, and lasting transformation found in Him alone.

With love in Christ,

Christie Johnson
