Website Update
Website Update — New Ways to Connect
Thank you for your patience while I worked through some technical issues with the website. I apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused.
The website has been updated, and all buttons and links should now be working properly. If you find a button or link that does not work or does not take you to the correct place, please let me know so I can correct it.
New Ways to Connect
There are now two ways to connect with me directly through the website:
Chat with Us — Look for the “Chat with Us” button in the bottom-right corner of the website. You can use it to ask questions, get help finding resources, share your story, or share a praise report about what God has done in your life. Your message will come to me through the website.
WhatsApp — You can also connect with me directly through WhatsApp:
-
On the Join the Discussion page, click the “Join the Discussion” button.
-
On the Share Your Story/Testimony page, click the “Share Your Testimony” button.
-
Both of these buttons will take you directly to my WhatsApp, where you can send me a message.
I am normally available at my computer from 10:00 AM–10:00 PM Mountain Time, and I will respond as quickly as I am able. You are still welcome to leave a message outside these hours, and I will respond when I am available.
I hope these updates make it easier for you to connect, ask questions, find resources, share your story, or simply tell me about something God has done in your life.
Thank you again for your patience as I continue working to make this website a welcoming and helpful place for you to grow in Christ and connect with others.
I know what it is like to carry deep wounds, painful memories, rejection, childhood abuse, grief, and years of believing lies about my worth and identity. I trust God, but I still experience struggles. Struggling does not mean that God has abandoned us. Often, it becomes the very place where He draws us closer, teaches us to depend on Him, and reveals His truth more deeply.
God has prepared me for this ministry through personal suffering, healing, biblical study, spiritual formation, and years of learning to follow Jesus through every season of life. My experiences allow me to speak with compassion and honesty, while my theological education helps me teach God’s Word carefully and faithfully. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Christian Leadership with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation, with an anticipated graduation in 2027.
God also used two important men to lead me closer to Him. My husband, Joseph Johnson, who passed away in 2024, helped lead me to salvation and encouraged my relationship with Jesus Christ. Later, Pastor Joseph Pedroza challenged me to read the New Testament and helped begin the process of changing how I understood God. Through their influence, God opened my heart to His Word and began preparing me for the ministry you see today.
My hope is that this website helps you recognize God’s truth instead of believing Satan’s lies. Healing and spiritual growth are not easy, but they are worth every step because Jesus walks with us throughout the journey.
As I study God’s Word, one question continually guides my life, my ministry, and everything I write:
What Did Jesus Do?
When we look at how Jesus loved, taught, forgave, served, prayed, suffered, welcomed the rejected, and walked alongside the broken, we discover both the heart of God and the pattern He calls us to follow. This ministry is built upon studying what Jesus did, understanding what His life and teachings reveal, and applying His example to our own spiritual formation and daily lives.
God never gave up on me. He pursued me, protected me, and patiently led me into the truth of who I am in Jesus Christ. By His grace, He has taken my story of pain, rejection, abuse, grief, and restoration and transformed it into a ministry of compassion, hope, biblical teaching, and discipleship.
My desire is to point others to Jesus Christ—the One who heals the brokenhearted, restores hope, renews our identity, and gives new purpose as his servant of God christie
As you explore this ministry, my prayer is that you will discover that your wounds do not define you, your struggles do not disqualify you, and the lies spoken over your life do not have the final word. God’s truth does. He is still writing your story.
Whether you are taking your first step toward Jesus or have walked with Him for many years, I pray these resources help you know Him more deeply, understand what He did, follow His example more faithfully, and experience His transforming work in your life.
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

My Story: From Brokenness to God’s Hope
Written immediately following the events of July 19–24, 2026, Continue the Journey is a Bible study series born out of one of the most difficult weeks of my life. As Jesus Christ faithfully met me through His Word, these studies became a record of the Scriptures He used to renew my mind, strengthen my faith, and draw me back to Himself.
My prayer is that as you study these Psalms, you will recognize God’s faithfulness in your own life, grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, and be encouraged to continue your journey with Him.

This page tells the story of God’s faithfulness throughout my life. The story God is writing about Christie.
Here, you will discover the experiences, challenges, victories, education, ministry calling, and biblical convictions God has used to shape the person I am today and continues to transform me into. My prayer is not simply that you would learn more about my life, but that you would see what Jesus Christ can do through a life surrendered to Him.
Every chapter of my story points to God’s grace, mercy, and unfailing faithfulness. He has met me in seasons of pain, guided me through uncertainty, and continued to reveal His purpose for my life. If God can redeem my story, He can also work faithfully in yours.

A Special Thank You
On August 1, 2021, Pastor Joseph Pedroza encouraged me to read the entire New Testament in thirty days. At the time, I could not have known how deeply that simple encouragement would change the direction of my life. God used that challenge to draw me closer to His Word, deepen my relationship with Jesus Christ, and begin preparing me for the ministry He had planned for me.
Five years later, as I prepare to launch this website, I recognize that this ministry may never have become a reality without that important moment of encouragement. Pastor Joseph, whom I met while living in Lubbock, Texas, believed in the importance of helping others know God through Scripture. His willingness to encourage me became one of the ways God redirected my life and awakened within me a desire to study, teach, and share His Word with others.
First and foremost, I thank God for His faithfulness, His perfect timing, and the way He places people in our lives to help guide us toward His purpose. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to Pastor Joseph Pedroza for encouraging me to open the New Testament and begin a journey that continues to transform my life. What may have seemed like a simple challenge became the beginning of something far greater than either of us could have imagined. To God alone be the glory for everything that has followed.
Closing
"The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives."
Psalm 37:23–24
Every chapter of my story is ultimately a testimony of God's faithfulness.
He has never abandoned me, even in seasons when I could not see His hand. Through every trial, every lesson, every season of growth, and every step of obedience, He has continued writing a story that brings glory to Him alone.
My prayer is that as you explore these pages, you will be reminded that God is still writing your story as well. No matter where you have been or what you are facing today, His grace is greater, His promises remain true, and His plans for your life are filled with hope.
May everything you read here encourage you to trust Jesus Christ more deeply and follow Him more faithfully.
